There are good and bad orchid years, depending on weather conditions, but the best time is end of April, beginning of May.
There are over 50 different types of orchid growing wild in the Tarn-et-Garonne and I have counted over 25 different ones on our land, there were so many this year, at one point it felt like we were discovering a new one every day!
