ABOUT US
Le Verger de Noyers is situated in the beautiful Tarn-et-Garonne in South West France.
There is a Maison de Maitre (Manor House), Large Barns, a Pigeonier (Dovecote) and an old Farmhouse.
We have 33 acres of land, which includes a 50 tree walnut orchard, fields, meadows, streams and woodlands.
There are plenty of walks that you can take from the front door, either staying on our land or heading further afield.

Who are Jacqueline and Kell?
We have been together for 28 years and in July 2023 celebrated 22 years of marriage. During this time we have worked together 24/7 on many different projects.
When we met, Kell was a hairdresser with his own salon in Notting Hill and I was producing TV Commercials and Music Videos.
We pooled our talents and along the way have created successful businesses in West London, including award winning salons Kell Skött Haircare in Notting Hill and Time Out Top London Restaurant
SNAPS + RYE.
We have written articles for magazines and been anonymous travel reviewers for Mr & Mrs Smith.
Kell has had photographs published in cycling publications and exhibited his large scale photographs of the North Norfolk Coast.
Now it's time for the next project and we are bringing some Nordic flair, design and tastiness to the Midi-Pyrenees.

THE FARMHOUSE
The farmhouse at Le Verger de Noyers is around 350 years old. It has wonderful thick stone walls, poplar floorboards, giant wooden beams, old stone sinks and enormous fireplaces.
We are keeping all of these great features, but bringing it up to date and brightening it up. Cool Nordic colours, Scandi crockery, Velux roof windows, a modern large and practical kitchen, a new bathroom and comfortable furnishings throughout.
OUR FACILITIES
Whether you want to be lazy or energetic there is plenty to do at Le Verger de Noyers.
Swimming Pool + Hot Tub
There is a 10m x 5m heated swimming pool. Comfortable sun loungers, chairs and all pool towels provided. We will be installing a large hot tub by the pool in the autumn of 2022
Wifi
We have fibre broadband throughout the farmhouse. There is a 4g signal, but due to the thickness of the stone walls this is often unavailable when you are inside.
The Domain
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, 33 acres of which belong to us. You can stroll or hike from the front door. Dotted around our land you will find shaded places to relax or have a picnic
Pétanque, Mölkky and Badminton
We have a full size pétanque terrain where you can have a leisurely game of the French classic, you can also play mölkky and badminton there too.
Catering
With advance notice we can cater for you. From a simple family supper, a BBQ or a meal to celebrate a special occasion. We can also provide picnics to have on our land or take further afield.
Cycle Workshop
We have a fully equipped cycle workshop available for you to use during your stay.
Kell was a cycle mechanic in a past life and is always on hand to help.
Included
On arrival you will find a welcome pack with some basic kitchen and cleaning essentials.
All linen, towels, tea towels and pool towels are also supplied.
Getting Around
We are remote, this is what makes it so peaceful and beautiful, but means you will need a car. We have an electric vehicle charging point (charged at cost) and provide maps of the area.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. We have our own two dogs, French Pointers Albi and Rufus who do roam freely around the property.
Note: The land is not fenced.
Honesty Bar / Shop
The nearest small supermarket is in Bourg De Visa (10 minutes drive) so for your convenience we have a small honesty bar / shop. Situated by the pool, it has cold drinks and some holiday and kitchen essentials.

You can be as active or lazy as you want during your time here.
Listed below are just a few things you can do, there is a full guide available in the farmhouse and this will be emailed to you before your arrival to allow you to plan your stay.
Walking
The walks around here are fantastic and are suitable for a stroll or a hike. You can either follow one of the many routes from our door, maps provided, and either stay on our land, or go further afield, literally!
Restaurants and Vineyards
We are lucky to have restaurant Au P'tit Moissac as our neighbours, they are certainly one of the best restaurants in the area, for that reason booking is essential.
The vineyards in the Lot region are a short drive away, and you can enjoy wine tasting, tours and lunch. Our favourite restaurants are Château de Chambert and Le Caillou.
Cycling
There are wonderful rides from the front door for all abilities. Bring your own bikes, or hire locally. We have a fully equipped cycle workshop.
Rivers
We are close to the rivers of the Tarn, Garonne, Lot and Averyron.
You can take lovely walks by them, swim, kayak and canoe.
Small Villages
We are surrounded by beautiful small villages, where you will find weekly food markets and evening markets in the summer. Go for a stroll, sit in a cafe and watch the slow pace of rural French life tick by.
Towns, Cities, Beaches and Beyond
Cahors is a lovely town 45 minutes drive away. It has a fantastic food market, some great restaurants and lovely architecture.
Our nearest cities are Toulouse (1.5 hrs drive) and Bordeaux (2hrs drive).
We are just 2.5 hrs away from the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
